- There may be a small amount of bleeding and some discomfort in your breast as the freezing wears off.
- Most women will not have a scar after the biopsy.
How can I prepare?
- You may eat or drink before the test.
- If you take blood thinners, ask your family doctor before the procedure if your dosage should be changed for a short time.
- You will be asked to undress from the waist up. It may be easier to wear a two-piece outfit.
- If possible, have someone drive you home after the test.
