This technique involves creating scenes in your mind that give you a sense of wellness, relaxation, confidence or other positive emotions.
Allow your imagination to create the scene, almost like dreaming, where the scene seems to take on a life of its own. You may be surprised at what your imagination produces.
When first learning this technique, it is best used with a voice directing you, whether that is by a trained professional or by a guided visualization tape or CD.
