Diagnostic Tests
A change to the breast does not necessarily mean that you have breast cancer. Here are some tests that may be ordered by your health care professional to diagnose your breast problem. If it is breast cancer and it is discovered and treated early, the chances of recovery are very good.

I chose a double mastectomy when I was diagnosed at age 54 with an early stage, but aggressive cell DCIS. It was the hardest decision I've ever made but the best for me because of the peace of mind.
