Home and Community Care
Home and community care services assist people who have chronic and acute illnesses receive the care they need in their home or community. Care provided in these familiar settings allows First Nations people and Inuit to be close to their loved ones as long as possible and to keep their independence.
Home and community care may include
  • Nursing care
  • Personal care such as bathing and foot care
  • Home support such as meal preparation
  • In-home respite care (caring for someone while family members have a rest)

I am just a little part of you. When I am old enough we will do everything together. Promise to read me stories and bring me shopping and teach me to play music. If you do that with me I will be an ever bigger part of you and you will be an even bigger part of me. And together we can do anything.
