It has been 1yr. I had a double mastectomy and I am doing fine. I had a very hard time to look at my self in the mirror while I had no hair but yet I was unable to wear a wig. I am 42yrs. old and I lost my mom at 44yrs. to cancer so I have been down this road befor. I live each day to the fullest and I appreciate the smallest things in my day. The doctors were great and I never had to wait for treatment or help. So be strong, happy, and positive each and everyday. Cancer treatment has come a long way.
