Survivorship
This is the time in your life after which you have received treatment for a diagnosis of breast cancer. Once your cancer treatment is over, you will enter a new phase.  Whether you call this “survivorship”, “living with cancer” or “a new normal”, there are a number of things to consider.

Your life has been affected in many ways and you are learning to adjust to your new situation. It is important for you to get proper rest and exercise, to follow a healthy diet, to have good follow-up care and to maintain your emotional, social and spiritual health.

My sister was diagnosed in 1996. She's doing well, cancer free, living every day to its fullest. I think of her and don't put off anything anymore. It has brought our family so much closer together. We show our emotions and are living a healthier lifestyle because of this.
